This is an untreated cabochon cut from some of our finest "Turkish Blue," or "Turk Blue," Chalcedony. Used in high end jewelry by everyone from Cartier to David Yurman, this natural, untreated, blue, chalcedony, is of the finest quality for mounting in high-end jewelry. 

This stunning, 40 carat cabochon has a brilliant polish and luster. Just a prime piece of high end material. Ready to mount, or to add to your collection. Perfect size for pendant or bracelet. Less than 10% of this quality is available in the rough, usually this highly translucent vivid colored material is only found in small quantity at the very edge of the rough and over 75% of the rough is culled and does not make the grade. Of the 25% of useable rough this is the best.
