:: A period correct painted rug with elaborate covered field in floral sprays and bouquets scrolling throughout. Narrow banded main border in a pinwheel colored floral top view interconnected by a delicate vine. High gloss silk-like sheen to the wool pile. Colors and shades include: Dark raspberry red, black cherry red, sapphire blue, ruby red, navy blue, and more. Condition notes: Mostly even pile height across. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Lilihan square rug made in Persia circa 1930's vintage. Size measures 3'7" x 4'4".
