:: Unusual dark blue Fine Sarouk featuring triple implied medallions based on shadow floral bouquets and absence of design surrounding. Beautiful and delicate elongated and scrolling vines and tendrils leading to each finely executed floral design element. Colors and shades include: dark indigo blue, rich raspberry red, beige, celadon green, oxidized copper green, and more. Condition notes: Mostly even pile with light knot heads showing through to the edge. One small pencil eraser size mend to the reverse side. Slight edge roll, which will be corrected with steaming prior to shipping. A period correct painted rug with less commonly found blue background for the type and age. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted vintage Persian Fine Sarouk rug runner made in Persia circa 1930's vintage.
