Using careful thought and precision, Suzy Wahl creates an artful assemblage of encaustic monotypes. Using a warmed glass plate, she draws her composition with the use of colored wax. With satisfaction, she presses strong paper onto its waxen surface to reveal a mirror image of her mind's intention. Creating pieces of art with unique, compelling personality.

Cadmium abstraction plays upon its artistic topography in this piece by Wahl. Values travel lightly through its spacial arena, just briefly altercated by a charcoal horizon which divides the area. Whether a blissful mirage, awash with the rays of an insisting sun or a solid plane met with a brief distraction, Wahl continually questions our senses with her exquisite approach to design.
